Despite a few minor issues with the dated decor, our stay at The Royal Hotel was excellent. The room was lovely with outstanding views of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The price for the room was also great, especially considering the beautiful building. I would highly recommend this hotel.
One drawback was the lack of parking, but we managed to find a parking app that offered a great price for a day and a half. Additionally, the food options for dinner weren't the best, with poor quality and choice. And as a pregnant woman, the absence of decaf coffee for breakfast was disappointing. However, despite these setbacks, I still recommend this hotel.

This place is perfectly situated by the beach and within a short walk of a historic fort, with a deluxe queen room that was impressive, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel was charming old, liked sea view from our deluxe queen room. The room was very lovely, comfy bed. Everywhere there was fairly clean, the staff were efficient and welcoming people at all times. Its location at a medium distance from Discovery was marvellous and unbeatable. Could reach the bus stop within 5 minutes’ walk.

This hotel offers exceptional value for money. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The views of the sea front are stunning, and you would usually have to pay top rates for such views. The shower in the room has excellent water pressure, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Additionally, the location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the promenade and opposite the beach, providing easy access to the beautiful bay.
The only minor drawback was the lack of fresh fruit at breakfast, which was disappointing. However, this was overshadowed by the overall pleasant experience at this hotel.
